2 carrots (medium) trimmed & roughly chopped
3 oranges peeled, quartered & white pith removed
1 cup (250ml) water
1 tsp fresh ginger grated, or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1⁄2 tsp fresh turmeric grated or 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
6-8 ice cubes
