Event Details

The ultimate pre-season training camp! Develop every aspect of your game before the start of the season with Sean Walker.

Dates: Monday, August 19th – Friday, August 23rd, 2019.

Time: On-Ice: 9am-12pm, Lunch: 12:15-1:15pm, Off-Ice: 1:15-2:30pm.

Arena: Meadowvale Four Rinks, Mississauga (Rink 2)

Players: For youth and teen players. Levels: House League to AAA. Ages: 7-14 (Ratio 5:1)

Lead Trainer: Sean Walker

On-Ice Skills Schedule:
Monday:
9-10:30am – Forward stride, balance + stability, forward skating, basic stick handling, wrist shot. 10:30am-12pm – Passing, offensive + defensive tactics, game tactics.
Tuesday:
9-10:30am – Forward + backward crossovers, transitional skating, turning, deking, snap shot. 10:30am-12pm – Passing, offensive + defensive specific tactics, 2-0’s, 2-1’s, game tactics.
Wednesday:
9-10:30am – Stopping + deceleration, acceleration, skating speed increasing, advanced stick handling, wrist-snap shot. 10:30am-12pm – Passing, offensive + defensive tactics, game tactics.
Thursday:
9-10:30am – Skating edges, transitional skating, turning, advanced deking, scoring training, backhand shot. 10:30am-12pm – Passing, offensive + defensive specific tactics, 2-0’s, 2-1’s, game tactics.
Friday:
9-10:30am – Full skating review, puck control + possession + protection technique training, scoring training, slap shot. 10:30am-12pm – Passing, confined space offensive + defensive tactics, 2-2’s, 3-2’s, game tactics.

Cost: $525 +hst/ Full Camp or $125 +hst/ Day (Amounts in Canadian Dollars)
