INGREDIENTS

  • 12 cup (65g) hazelnuts (peeled)
  • 40g 70% dark chocolate (or dairy-free alternative) chopped
  • 12 cup (50g) rolled oats (or brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes if gluten free)
  • 12 cup (50g) chocolate protein powder (or vanilla protein powder + 1 tbs cocoa)
  • 14 cup (65ml) maple syrup (honey or rice malt syrup)
  • 14 cup (65g) coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder (or cacao powder) for dusting
METHOD
This method is based on 10 servings
  1. Place hazelnuts and chocolate in a food processor and blend until fine.

     

  2. Add oats, protein powder and blend until combined. 

     

  3. Add maple syrup and coconut oil and blend until mixture comes together.

     

  4. Roll into 10 even balls and transfer to a tray lined with baking paper. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

     

  5. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 7 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
